Bikers1.com - Forth Valley MCC Thistle Rally 2010

It's Thistle time, again, with the sniff of spring in the air obscured by large snowflakes I followed the grey ruts in the white road having chucked in an extra blanket in case it was cold, naawwww, really ?

I'm not goin' on at length about the Thistle, for those whom it's a regular do don't need me to tell 'em how good it is, suffice to say that this many nutters heading out on bikes to camp in this weather says enough about it.

(tAoRA) The Association of Responsible Adults were thankfully not in attendance

The line up for the weekend was :
Friday - Black Nastys, Flat oot
Saturday - xxxx, La paz

Trophy winners, in a possibly completely random order are at the bottom of the page.

The rest of the weekend is told in pictures, crayons for colouring them in are unfortunately not provided on health and safety ground as there is a risk of one being lodged sideways in someone's nostril.

Enjoy the photos.

Personally I was ridden wi' the flu, not the 'man flu' mind you, it was much worse than that :-), life threatening in fact, the only cure was to consume large quantities of alchohol and blether shite, luckily there were numerous others of the same persuasion.

Friday night at the Thistle is traditionally the first of the year for many and as such everyone was 'goin' for it', very successful most folk were too, given the nick of many of them on Saturday morning............
