"Once more into the marquee dear friends" came the shout from, erm, eh, oh yes, Me.

Someone must have heard me coz it was packed.

I missed Skinflint but I wasn't going to miss PLC, when that lass isn't singin' I'm going to get a loan of her voice, I've got a frame with some real hard to shift rust, me grinder isn't coarse enough to take it off, her voice is. I saw them last year and I thought they were brilliant, they didn't disappoint this year either.

Best Club Turnout and Club mileage, you guessed it, the Saints & Sinners

Farthest Travelled female looking bemused as Kev gropes her arse

Farthest Travelled non UK type person was this bloke from Belgium whose name I can't even spell phonetically

OH ME GAWD!, PUT THAT AWAY

Worst Rat winner Bob, in his fetchin frock could barely stand

Kev looks on ominously, wonderin' whether it was protocol to follow June's lead and plant the groom a big smacker right on the lips.

Cheezy Grins from Paul for his Best Classic

I bumped in to Skida and his Missus, he claimed to have been sporting a new look inspired by me, he declared he was now Skida "Limall", now this may have been worrying, but not half as worrying as his seemingly depthless knowledge of dodgy 80's pop music, no stop now Skida, stop... 'nuther pint?, uh ok then.

Uncle Fester was also in attendance, I was quite impressed with his abililty to light a bulb whilst holding it in his gob, alcohol powered methinks.

It was trophy time or raffle time or is it trophy time, work it our Kev ;-)

First there was a presentation to a couple from the Dragonslayers that had just tied the knot.

The prizes were as follows
The Dragonslayers always have great trophies, see the pic at the top of the page

Best Bike Blue Triumph ANL 892K
Best Classic Triumph Trophy Sport BVK 84G
Best Engineering Blue Triumph ANL 892K
Best Trike Red Silver Q113 YBB
Worst Rat Bob's from't Bridge rats

As Kev got over the stress of trike owners and best bike/eng owners not appearing for the prizes then Livewire kicked off. Probably one of the best AC/DC tribute bands around, certainly got the crowd goin', or was that the alcohol.

So it was that sometime later I fell over with mild heat stroke to wake up on Sunday to the thought of having to put a lid on my crimson crispy bonce, big thanks to Bunny from the Minehoff for 'shotties' of some spray tae sooth ma hied.

Even with around 2000 folk attending this still felt had the atmosphere and friendliness of a like a small intimate rally. Perhaps that's why so many folk are regulars.

For my part, thanks to everyone for the craic, new pals and old, we had a blinder of a time. Huge thanks tae Kev and his crew for a great party and for arranging the weather.

I believe a fair amount of money was raised for the Newcastle RVI ward 16, children's cancer unit and for Kimberley Stobbs who is winning the fight against Leukemia, good 'un

I'm lookin' forward tae next year already.
