'99 - Wasn't the first rally this year, but it was still as good, pity the ol' weather was shite, but at least it stayed dry for the demo which was the usual hoot, although there was several hundred bikes we kept passing other bikes going the other way, why weren't you at the demo ?.
Marty won "Worst Rat" and rightly so, no stylised contrivance here his GS1000 is a testament to neglect and poverty, but it still goes !, after a bump or two...... .
Generally amongst the first of the season, escape from the emporium of bangin' and weldin' for a party in a field at last. There is a demo run through Edinburgh on the Saturday, nothin' quite like hundreds o' bike firin' down Princes street tae draw attention tae the cause.
This rally has the BEST food at any rally, the farmer an' 'is folks get it all together. Wot, a bacon roll (on a real Scottish roll, nae sesame cardboard shite!) for 60p.
