Well it's that time of year again, if it's the Saints & Sinners then it must be mid september ans the rally season is nearly over, well for me anyway, just the Mutineers to go in October and then the call of the shed will beckon me like a siren "Build Me, Build Me". Heading for long dark nights in shed bangin', hammerin' and generally fettlin'. If I didn't got o rallies I'd be a) richer and b) have my chop finished by now, but then I wouldn't have had such a great time and partied with so many mates. It's all Big Watty's fault that I haven't got many photies from Friday night nor can remember many details, e.g what bands?. Thanks to him I couldn't bite me own fingers never mind point a camera, but hey what the hell, I had a ball even if I could barely stand ;-) I'm throwin' this together before I bugger off to Holland next week so that at least ye can get a laugh at the photies. Watch out for the photo up Squirrel's kilt though, don't look at it on a full stomach, if ye get my drift, no?, ye will ;-)

Needless to say this was great rally, laid back, good pub, great food in the pub if ye like yer sirloin the size of a dinner plate. Thankfully the weather was kind and we stayed dry all weekend. The villagers of Luthermuir must have been out with the toenail scissors cutting the grass on the park individually, it was like a bowling green ! When we arrived I thought for a moment it was a trike rally, I've rarely such a high proportion of trikes, bike engined, car engined and ones that looked like the 50's impression of a futuristic hovercar out of a comic. Ten out of Ten for imagination though. Dave Pirrie decided to hand out the trophies BEFORE the bands went on Saturday night so I was still sittin' drinkin' and bletherin' with Steph, who coincedentaly had won Best Trike and Best in Show hence I missed the awarding of the trophies, what I can rememebr is the Best Club Turnout/Mileage went to the Fat Bastard Pie Eaters, Furthest Male - an Irish Lad, best chop - Harley flame job with large many spoked front wheel, erm and that's bout it, 'kin useless eh, bloody drink ;-) Thanks tae the Saints and Sinners for a great party, by far the best band were the second last band on Saturday, but I'll need to get the name from Gordon, I was having too uch of a good time ;-) One minor rant afore I go, fifty folk bought tickets and didn't turn up, except for the ill and unexpected. lots of folk were desperate for tickets for this rally and couldn't get them. make yer own mind up about that. Enough words, I'll let the photies speak for themselves. See ye at the Mutineers, and watch out for the feature on Dave Pirrie's Gpz next weekend Words(few) & Pics By Al
